GFSS served in a consultancy role for the food service function for Rio 2016. Consultancy included conceptual and program development for two athlete villages, analysis for self-operation versus outsourcing of catering, RFP development, critical paths and timelines, marketing and values in kind budget analysis.
GFSS served in a consultancy role for the Food Service Function for Baku 2015 - the European Inaugural Games. GFSS developed Scope of Work Documents for perspective Athletes Village Providers, assisted with identifying providers and interview process leading to selection of Caterers.
In conjunction with West Street Associates, GFSS developed multiple food service logistics plans for Competition and Non-Competition venues. This included the preliminary interview process of vendors and suppliers.
GFSS engaged in a limited joint venture with Buona Companies to plan and execute all hospitality and concession operations for the Pre-Olympic trial and annual event.
Global Food Service Solutions was responsible for the conceptual planning and implementation of the food service program for the Olympic profile event. This included the organization of all of the concession and hospitality operations as well as over one million meals served in a 20-day period of time.
GFSS served in a consultancy role for the food service function for VANOC. Consultancy included conceptual and program development for two athlete villages, analysis for self-operation versus outsourcing of catering, RFP development, critical paths and timelines, marketing and values in kind budget analysis.
Responsible for the conceptual planning and implementation of the food service program for western broadcasters such as NBC-Uni, Channel 7 Australia, Canadian TV as well as hospitality for many of the western Olympic sponsors. Planning was for over 10,000 guests with multiple meal programs daily for 25 days. GFSS also served as operational consultant to the Beijing Olympic Committee for the athlete village dining and their food safety plan.
GFSS handled the conceptual planning and implementation of the food service program for over 7,000 broadcasters in 16 different locations. Additionally, we organized the food service infrastructure and culinary program for the IOC which included over 30,000 guests in the historically famous Palazza Madama. GFSS also served as the operation consultant for the Olympic Committee and the IOC on the Winter Games logistics for their food service program.
